We've always wondered why someone hasn't produced a glossy photo "Coffee Table" book that covers a selection of the most famous Viking burials. Because no one has, we've decided to try and do something similar here.
We've initially selected 15 Viking Age burials, some containing multiple bodes, that we feel best inform us about the lives of those people living over 1000 years ago. We've tried to represent the Western Viking area and a spread of datelines.

Other than time, our main challenge will be getting hold of copyright free images for some of these finds. The images we will use will be a combination of our own photos that we've taken at museums over the years, images that we can find under a Creative Commons agreement and finally any illustrations that are out of Copyright.
