The artistic successor to the Carolingian Renascence, the German, Swiss and Italian Ottonian manuscripts provide some of the best depictions of people and fashions in this period. Henry Mayr-Harting's two volume study draws on 70 Ottonian manuscripts and is the basis for this list.
The following list of manuscripts is based on the work of Henry Mayr-Harting [MAYR-HARTING 1999].
The only other book in English that I know of that discuss Ottonian art is Dodwell's 'The Pictorial Arts of the West 800-1200' [DODWELL 1993].
