Many Viking Age burials have been found in the British Isles and across northern and western Europe. The following list aims to list those most commonly referred to in this Compendium.

This section contains a select group of sites that we feel are poorly documented and so would benefit from us sharing our research regarding them.

Hoards may have been buried for a number of reason. This list details some of the best known.
