  • London, Milk Street and Watling Court (late C9th-late C10th): 6 pieces of silk (14% of all textiles found) were found. Three are woven in a tabby, one in a patterned compound twill. The other pieces were a cord and a band. [PRITCHARD 1984]:p.59
