A conical iron helm constructed from riveted plates. The helm is usually decorated with attached brass plates and often with a plume.

Similar in construction to the riveted panel conical helm above. Kirpichnikov dates this style of helm from 900 to 1200AD [KIRPICHNIKOV 1971].
