The Viking Age Compendium also contains a complete list of burials in the following countries:

Viking burials found in England
Viking burials found in Scotland
Viking burials found in the Isle of Man
Viking burials found in Wales

We've always wondered why someone hasn't produced a glossy photo "Coffee Table" book that covers a selection of the most famous Viking burials. Because no one has, we've decided to try and do something similar here.
We've selected 15 Viking burials, some containing multiple bodes, that we feel best inform us about the lives of those people living over 1000 years ago. We've selected burials from around western Europe ad across the whole of the Viking Age.
