We've always wondered why someone hasn't produced a glossy photo "Coffee Table" book that covers a selection of the most famous Viking burials. Because no one has, we've decided to try and do something similar here.<br>
We've initially selected a number of 15 Viking Age burials, some containing multiple bodes, that we feel best inform us about the lives of those people living over 1000 years ago. Our burials are from around western Europe We've tried to represent the Western Viking area and across the whole a spread of the Viking Agedatelines.<br>
