:Comments- Wheeler identifies this sword as probably being Petersen type L but states that the sword is damaged [WHEELER 1927:p.35]. Evison has confirmed the sword as a later type Y and not a type L as it appears in the picture [GRAHAM-CAMPBELL 2001:p.106].
