Swords of Type VII found in Britain

:Hilt- probably like Petersen fig.128 (type X). Remains of a wooden grip.
:Scabbard- may have parts of the wooden scabbard attached to the corroded blade.

Comments- now known only through an electrotype copy recovered from a Repton attic in 1948, may represent a second, but later, Viking sword from the village (Petersen Type X).
