Discussion
Petersen considers the 17 drinking horns discovered in Norway to be of British origin. Paterson suggests that the relative rarity of drinking horns in the archaeological record may be due to their fragile nature and the difficulty of detecting and excavating them rather than their actual rarity (PATERSON 2014 p.149).
