There are four ways that copper-alloy vessels were made: by casting, raising, dishing or riveting. Petersen argues that many of the copper-alloy vessels from Norway were insular because they contained a large percentage of tin, an alloy not found in Norwegian copper-alloy .

France, : L'Ile de Groix (Y)

Current Location- Type- Boat Burial (Male) Find Date- Construction- Bronze bowl, with slightly convex bottom, the side outwards sloping, and projecting rim. Close to the bottom a crack has been repaired by a small bit of bronze fastened with a rivet. The bowl is 27cms. wide, 8—9cms. high. A similar bowl has been found in a grave at Glappestad, Norway (B4844).
